I kind of don't want to play them at all.

I don't want the Cards but my best case scenario would have them playing a tie breaker to determine the Central division.

None of the NL matchups are all that appealing to be honest. NL is gonna be a dog fight to see who makes the World Series.

Itwas...what a fairy tale ending. Unbelievable. The guy leads a charmed life; I wish he'd share a little on me.
Nice way to say goodbye...pretty cool. Sort of like the Babe and Ted Williams, who hit HRs I believe in their last AB.

That was one of those moments where the baseball gods make insane shit happened.

If I were Jeter, I'd just call it there. He doesn't need to play in Fenway. The Yankees have nothing left to play for. I'd just go home.

He played his last game at short. He will be a DH at Fenway.

Lost in the Jeter insanity, was the truly amazing fact (IMO) , in spite of his excellent numbers and all the alphabet anagrams, is that Kuroda, except for one time I think, has once again maxed out at his 11 seasonal wins. it's odd that no matter how good the guy has been, he just doesn't go beyond that mark. Who knows why? he's always deserved better, I guess, but hardly ever got it.
And I'll tell you, he's made some beau coup yen pitching in the good 'ol USA.
Kuroda-san, besbol been berry, berry good to you...

just heard the brewers inadvertently sent out playoffs tickets to season ticket holders after being eliminated from the postseason
to be fair, that's about as close as that team will ever get

I don't want the Royals in the playoffs. Boring team, and nobody shows up for their games. I despise teams who have 12 thousand fans show up during September and then it turns in to a "baseball town" for 5 days.
