    I could see Stan coming in and cutting Uribe and Kennedy, and bringing up Castellanos and Van Slyke - just to see how they do. Who knows? These guys might be able to get on base. We will need more power at 1B, 3B and LF, ultimately - but it would be useful to fill out the roster until we can make a trade or purchase.

    Maybe we can just use him this year. Depending on what we trade for him, he could be useful. I doubt with the new group coming in they won't Colleti a deal for him and trade all our best young talent for him.

    Mets got a top pitching spec for half a year of Beltran

    Wright means more to the Mets, plays 3B and is under control for an extra year

    The cost will be too much to be worth it

    How much you wanna bet they let Wright walk? Quite the possibility.

    Depending on how you look at things, that could mean they accept a fair package...or we ca just sign the guy via FA if they don't exercise his option.
