    I guess, but I mean the whole reason behind that was the thought and/or narrative that Capuano would pitch great with FedEx but in his last three starts he's allowed 12 ER in 14.1 IP so it's more than likely it was just coincidence or had to do with something else so A.J. should be catching him if it fits with the schedule

    the thing about Ryu that is so great is he doesn't implode at all. guy just keeps his wits about him. maybe he can teach that to Chad

    gibson is/was/and always will be one of those guys you love when he's on your side
    and absolutely despise when he's the opponent
    he was the heart, soul (and talent) of that 1988 team
    when gibson was unable to play after his game 1 heroics, bob costas called the dodgers lineup one of the weakest in world series history
    and he wasn't wrong
    that team had absolutely no business being in the postseason, beating the mets and beating the mighty a's
    gibson single-handedly willed that team to the title
    he had so many huge clutch moments in '88
    this was just one of the many examples...



    okay to hate him now -- hell, i do
    but to ignore what he did for this team/organization back in 1988 is to ignore our own history

    Yeah I think Capuano is just waaaaay streaky

    Some days he looks like a strong #3
    and the next outing you wonder why this piece of shit is wearing your uniform

    I dont have any faith that Bills will ever rejoin our lineup but if he did, and more so IF Ryu/Greinke/Kershaw can impart a little composure to him then it would be wonderful to see him push Cap back into the pen where he belongs.

    Fedex just gets the leftover starters
    whenever they get the ball

    Well, before he was a streaky type of guy but now its more often than not that he is having a bad outing. At the end of the day, his ERA is 4.70

    But I did find out that Fife is still having some shoulder trouble and has been getting lit up a bit in Triple A (which might be unfair to him given that where he pitches is a bandbox)

    Oh and Bills 100% for sure won't pitch until next year haha, but man our rotation would have been way too nasty with him, damn.

    I agree that "Chad" is a problem

    Chad doesn't call up any images of testosterone laden forces of nature


    But unless you can vouch that Hung Lo is appropriate, I'd pick something else as his adopted moniker

    We haven't had a debate about bills all year but ill stay out of this one... A little... Still say he's very under appreciated and the narrative about the obsession over his body parts has to do with a 17 inning sample size. All it's gonna take is a bad outing from greinke and/or Ryu in the playoffs for the same to happen. Okay, done... I've learned it's hard to change the attacking on him no matter and so y'all can hate but I love his value on this team and I know he stepped up on some of the toughest/high leverage type games last year.

    Ryu has the marbles that bills lacks. Bills has much better stuff for say 4-5 innings then the wheels come off. Ryu has shown me he can get the job done even when he doesn't have his best stuff. Now lets beat the shit out of these fuckers
