Just tuned in ... See that Trayce hit a three run homer... Good to see, but bad because that means he's benched tomorrow.
Trayce's bomb gets the headlines, but credit Gallo and Bellinger for some good takes in drawing walks in front of Trayce's lift off. Another ace bites the best. Gave Burnes more time to work on his hair. Doesn't exactly fit the Bakersfield prototype.
very true but in fairness that was a shot even mom behind her hearing aids said "i bet you heard that one" still early but it looks like Trayce has resurrected his career in baseball good for him, a lot of other guys probably would have given up not sure what his contract status is but i'd hope we'd be buying

Roberts is now classified as an ID 10 T...if you guys aren't up to snuff with the modern high tech jargon, just take the spaces away. That's what Dave is. And it was touched on last night, but how many think Gonsolin will be shut down at some point?
Probably, but how do you do that while keeping him tuned up and also stretched out for 80-100 pitches?
I don't see any reason he'd be shut down. Dodgers have babied him and all the other starters along the entire year presumably so he'd still be good for the postseason
What I kind of expect to see when Kershaw returns is a six-man rotation for the rest of the season. That should help ensure that the starters are rested for the playoffs. Not sure what effect that would have on the bullpen though with one fewer arm.
