    Anecdotes are not engaging when he speaks in the same rhythm like a generic video game announcer.

    Davis is impressive for his age and kudos to him. I mostly like him. BUT definitely a generic sound and can get annoying after a couple innings when everything is delivered in the same speech pattern.

    The man child thing is bad too. I can’t imagine vin running with the rubix cube thing, but if he did it might have been charming. That shit doesn’t fly with Davis. And you’re right, if you’re going to go with the monotone then do a clean, classic call. Can’t mix genres and work in the cutesy stuff when you feel like it.

    Also he overenunciates a lot of his HR calls. “GOOOONNNN-UHH”

    How does a 6 p.m. start on Thursday outdraw yesterday and Tuesdays games, which both had promotions? There's no way our fans are smart enough to know when it's a Kershaw game and come out specifically for that.

    Thursday night is a nice night to go out, more people have Friday's off or it's at least a casual day... Just my guess cause yeah I thought the 6:00 pm start would lead to poor attendance
