    i like Pepiot too
seems like the one thing all the young guys coming up through the system have is poise
even if Irish doesn't like May dancing
really happy for Grove and hope he manages a playoff slot but idts if zappa is back

Hell of a way to bounce back after that ugly first game.

Beginning to think Lux is a bit a blockhead.

Great athletic ability, but makes some really dumbass decisions in the field. That kind of shit can cost you a playoff series.

Three innings for this kid ?

    OK, Andre...you got this boyo...
    Indeed, indeed.
Seems a bit impatient lately at the plate...for sure.
His fielding and throwing are something I look at through a squinted eye and head tilted every time the ball is hit to him now.
That error was as stupid a throw as a professional baseball player can make...he let it fly when the guy passed 1b already practically.
Turning himself into a liability after he worked so hard to get to where he was.
He might be a bit of a lunatic.
Oh, and I was overjoyed when Pujols struck out. Elated.
That's the kind of guy I am.
    Thank you.

I'll say this about Doc's love of veterans ... they know what a long season takes. It takes grit. They've got some.

What I've seen in Lux, May, and some of these other kiddos is a baby rattler dynamic that makes for a shaky September.

They looked great in the first half but as things get real, their chucklehead rookie ways take over.
