Maybe it was 499. I have sigs turned off for the same reason as you, but that's just my preference. Of course we could limit the size of sigs across the site, but why should we ruin it for everyone because of one bad apple.
gonna add my 2 cents guy was banned for 3 days for being a douche i pm'd him after that in an attempt to make peace not only did he not respond, he chose to continue with the douchebaggery when asked to stop posting large images, he posted more when asked to stop re-opening dead/idle threads for no reason, he opened more when asked to stop being abusive/disruptive, he turned it up a notch it was then that we took away his avatar/signature privileges only at that point did he choose to reply to my pm not to acknowledge anything i said, but instead to bitch and whine like a petulant child... "Which bitch changed my avatar and blocked me from changing it? Fuck the children you gave the power to. Delete my account." again, dsp is one of the most loosely moderated sites out there you really have have to go out of your way to get banned towards the end it became clear that was his mission mission accomplished

On the top right of this page it should say "Bluezoo | Inbox | Alerts" Hover the mouse over your name A menu will drop down, click on "Preferences" From the preferences page you can check/uncheck the box that says "Show signatures" I'll be here all day
Minor point, no real bearing on the matter, but he did post that he couldn't open the pm's someone (presumably you) was sending him. If true, it's not like he "refused" to answer. I'm sorry it came to this, he is his own person for sure, and has his quirks. We had an animated history between us but came to understand each other. I may be alone, but I'll miss him.

it wasn't pm's it was emails and i fixed it the minute he complained if he couldn't read pm's, he wouldn't have been able to respond to my pm 3 weeks later to bitch and whine to be fair, everybody here is their own person with their own set of quirks no one asked him to stop being who he was he was fine when you guys first came over from espn but he grew more disruptive as he became more comfortable here he was asked very nicely to turn it down a notch and instead chose to be a dick after his first ban, all he had to do was come back and not act like a child but that was evidently too much for his fragile ego to accept
