    Would be great if Betts and Turner contributed to the offense...hitting as we are might be enough for this hapless AZ bunch, but it won't fly in SF.
    Overall, we were just good enough to win against Dback pitching, but I thought a couple of their starters were pretty damn good against us, like Kelly.
    Thank God for our pitching.
    If it holds, and we can get back some key players, we can stay with SF and SD.
    I dont see Yoshi T as depth, merely a band aid. AB he looks pretty clueless.
    This bp game worked out, barely...but coming when it did, Idk if it was a fortuitous time with SF coming up, which promises to be close games ( I hope for us). We'll need the best RP we've got, surely.

    Pen has come through in all three bullpen games. Only one win to show for it, though.

    Amazing what happens when the pitcher actually pays attention to the runner. Smith credited Treinen with holding the runner and slide stepping to help him out.
