With what's left on the back end of the rotation, I think your estimate is very conservative. 45 more wins, say 50 for arguement will give us almost 70 Ws...way short of what we will need to catch SF, AZ. I think the bottom 2 in the rotation are really weak. They'll have about 50 starts. Shit, right now, we are worse than SD. We need way more than 45 wins for a shot from these 3 guys....I don't see the back end picking us up at all. To be realistic we need them to win about half their starts if the front 3 win 45. I hope they can, but I just don't see it from Capuano& Fife/Magill/whoever. Unless Lilly returns and rises Phoenix-like from the ashes. or, dare I say it-Beckett, the Archbishop of Cantepitch any more.
Has there been much discussion about and is anyone else paying attention to the season James Loney is putting together right now? Loney is capable of this but like every other time he has played well he will eventually go back into his normal crappy self. But if he doesn't then we need to get some new coaching at all levels.
Fucking Loney. Whatever it is, it wasn't going to happen here. That's on him, I always liked him, just his inability to hit in a Dodger uniform is what I hated and his driving record. Puig looks to have the later covered.
