    of course you're right it wasn't a bad pitch at all and he's making good progress
    he'll be on the playoff roster and he should be however i'm not rooting for smooth sailing so dave starts seeing him as THE man again
    he's a high paid mercenary we took a chance on and no way i want him shrugging at a game winning shot in October

    My fear with Craig will always be the 1 run games.

    Not worried about him closing the door with a 3+ run cushion.

    Kimbrel, imo, will be the reason ( the face of of it anyway ), that this historic year will be another crashing anti-climax, as 90% of our 10 postseason appearances were.
    This flippant " everybody rests" all at once deal Roberts showed is the stuff of fools, as the clinching the division insolence disregards almost everyone's comment that " it's only the first step...every game is still important now for full advantage in the playoff". Yup.
    That was a totally winnable game just thrown away because of lineup construction.
    Gallo's Tuesday night HR ? Might have been one of the worst things that could've happened.
    Only Dave's brain ( for lack of a better word) knows what that will cultivate in the near future.

    Hopefully Davey got the throwaway game thing out of his system. There's still work to be done, and that lead over the Asterisks can erode quickly.

    Yep. STROS have a patsy schedule and Baker gonna Baker. I'm sure he's already working on potential race-based methods to motivate his team.

    No championship should EVER be played at that Houston band box shithole either.
