Kenley Jansen is on tap to disappoint and dash the hopes of lots of people.
Like the script of some cruel circus.
Loyalty being rewarded by the organization by insistence of using a player who is no longer capable of doing what he is paid for.
    Pretty sad.
Difficult to grasp why the emotional whims of a single player dictates the course of the Dodgers and their frustrated fans, who absolutely deserve better at such a key element in team construction.
Still losers, in spite of the glorious veneer of brilliance drummed into our psyche for years.

Two hits was the story of the game.

Haven't hit the past two games. Lucky as hell to win Wed afternoon.

Yup. Kenley put his spin on the ending, but the title of yesterday's book is " 2 Hits, Sad Shits. " No doubt.

And Archie Bradley knows just how lame Pollock is, 1st hand. Pollock didn't want any problems.

    @mikearmenta1

I stuck a poster of Kenley Jansen on my door and now it won't close

Jansen getting roasted left and right on Twitter....love it.

All the deserved Twitter attack and bad press he gets will not change the most pressing and obvious problem the team has...the fact that the next time we need a closer, it will be him.
Whether it comes from jerk Robots, or from the FO through him, or any combination thereof, it will be Kenly Jansen.
And therein lies the rub, bub.
Strangely, perhaps, but it reminds me of these individuals who go shopping and leave their children in the car.
Just no justification for that kind of an ending...as Jansen can equally provide for all of us.

But even with the flaccid offense, and the ineffective lineup created by the dense manager, the two hits was enough to end the game as winners in the end.
The story of the game for me, is without a doubt, the waning and increasingly mediocre skills of Jansen.
The new anti- Gagne mantra when Jansen comes in : " Game far from over".

But what can we do to solve the Kenley problem? Should Urias spot close on occasion?

    we can't do shat
that edict has to come from the higher ups
and until they're willing to say fuck kenley's feelings, nothing will change
and it will likely cost us another championship
shame because there are a lot of potential options
guys like gonsolin, may, julio, kelly, baez should be given every chance to compete for the job
but that time would be now, not in the postseason
    fuck kenley and his entitlement
whiny sloppy bkitch needs a reality check

After Kenley choked harder than Jeff Epstein, Pollock got punked by Bradley, and more clown shit from DR. About covers it

Pollock got hit on the wrist and popped up. Ump called it as the ball hitting the knob of the bat and pollock was out. Pollock apparently took his sweet ass time leaving the field and was jawing at the ump. Bradley wanted him off the field and I think Muncy got involved somehow.

And in typical MLB fashion, nothing happened once the players cleared the benches

He was so effective last night. Was shaky in his first inning, too.

Roberts and the FO idiots have to experiment right now. Maybe start Kenley in 8th inning scenarios and then try some of the other arms in the 9th.

Kelly should be first up. The precious Urias only pitches every fourth day.
