Fairweather as I am, I left the game immediately after they took Kershaw out. I wasn't about to hang around for Baez.

    Good night overall

Pedro Baez and Yasmani Grandal: the 2 best Dodgers who fans act like are AA players

Clayton really wanted that CG, but it was still a great outing

Grandal is legitimately one of the best catchers in the game. I would not put Pedro in that same category. But I get what you mean.

Of course, but I mean Baez is a legitimate MLB pitcher, who quite frankly has room for even more improvement

Said Toles could hit around 12HRs this year, he's definitely off to a great start there.
Looking like 15 isn't out of the realm of possibility

    zack, honest as always...
    • "It wasn't like the best I've ever pitched, but their at-bats are super quality and they hit the ball hard a lot,'' Greinke said. "Just a good game by them.''

Honestly, Greinke's control looked good but he was getting squeezed a little bit.

Agree...then let him be on the DBacks then.
We'll gladly take someone in lieu of him.
Well, I would. Maybe be not the Nerds. They seem to like him.
He fits the "usual suspect" profile.

Yeah, but he never should have gotten that swatstika tat on his forehead.

Unreal how much the DBacks seem to fuck up pitchers. I remember Brandon McCarthy saying they told him not to throw his cutter or something and that they'd limit what pitches he'd throw and it fucked him up. Once he left he got better. Greinke and other pitchers who arrive seem like they go through something similar where the AZ staff just screws them up

Can't say I agree, he left several pitches over the middle of the plate which is not ideal

Maybe if his lard ass would get on the mound and throw the ball rather than circle it, touch every part of his face, then stand there for 20 seconds we could like him

" Take some of that velo off your fastball " - AZ
    Nah.
Greinke is an admitted tinkerer himself, always trying to find ways to save his arm..whereas other guys are more so relying on coaching.
The signs of erosion were there before he left, had the flare ups, not to the level of Price, but there nonetheless.
He just pitched well so not many cared

Would love to attend Jackie Robinson night. But the pitching match up is Maeda vs. a good offense and our guys facing a lefty. Guaranteed loss. No thanks.
