    And who the hell is in charge of the schedule? 4:00 pm game today, and then a 1:15 pm start time in St. Louis tomorrow. Hopefully we sent Max ahead of time so he can get a little rest.

    I'm still agonizing over the loss of Pollock - they're now saying "several" weeks. What makes it tough to accept is that it was totally avoidable. Why did he go? Did the pitcher simply pick him off? Crappy camera work didn't show but he seemed to be too close to third to have not been running on the pitch. Did the call come from the bench or did he go on his own? The risk/reward numbers just don't make sense on attempting a steal in that situation.

    Bellinger went from an MVP to a complete loser.

    Pollock went from a complete loser to one of the Dodgers best hitters and arguably the best hitter in the second half of the season

    Little doubt Pollock was on his own.

    I don't think anyone is surprised he's injured because that's the AJ we've come to know. I'm just surprised he's trying to steal 3rd with two outs. What was to gain? He wouldn't score on a fly ball or fielder's choice. Wild pitch or infield single, sure, but what's that likelihood? Maybe he was clairvoyant thinking balk like Turner's run later in the game?

    Also, we had a rally going, scoring 3 in the inning, and it took the bat out of CT's hands. Total rally ender.

    Reminds me of this play in beer league softball about ten years ago. We were down big starting the last half of the final inning. We had an epic rally going, having scored 5-6 runs, and had the tying run on 3rd with just one out. The runner at third was one of those assholes who always had the need to steal the spotlight (even though he was a shitty softball player). So batter hits a high popup to deep short, caught right on the edge of the OF grass. Dipshit on 3rd fakes, like he's tagging, and after a pause on the bag, he breaks for home. Dugout is shouting nooooooo. He literally gets thrown out by about 12 ft, and this is with short softball baselines. Game over. As he comes back to the dugout he throws gas on the fire by declaring, "What? I was just trying to make something happen." As if THE TEAM wasn't already making something happen. To a man, we wanted to kill him on the spot.

    baseball 101... never — EVER — make the first or last out at 3rd base
    the risk far outweighs the reward

    @DodgerInsider
    Bullpen sessions today for Clayton Kershaw and Danny Duffy both went well. Kershaw still on line for a rehab outing Tuesday with Oklahoma City. Next step for Duffy is another pen in a few days. After that, the Dodgers will entertain a simulated game.

    Buehler looks terrible...absolutely.
    And this lineup, unless it goes through some drastic changes, gets us nowhere ultimately. Too many serious holes...very serious holes.
    Nothing from" superstars".
