Hoping they put him left and Taylor in CF. CF in SF is no bargain.

Starting him is a no brainer (insert Dave slam here).

There's an actor , who is excellent, named Jessie Plemmoms, who looks very much like him.
If you saw Black Mass, the Whitey Bulger story with Depp, he is prominent in that.
We can get to anybody with the right coaching/ leadership. Have to prepare correctly.
They got to Hyman Roth, so...
We've got tne ballsiest Dodger in years going for us, so this might be an Iron Man competition.

It can be really hard to take this sport seriously when they do shit like this....

    @BlakeHarrisTBLA
Doug Eddings will be behind the plate for Game 5 of the NLDS Among 36 umpires who called at least 30 games this season, he ranked 34th in accuracy at 92.5% via @UmpScorecards

Game 5 of the NLDS between the two best teams in baseball and they go with a horrible umpire who will more than likely change momentum numerous times

    Lovely

Let's face it. Baseball hasn't been the national pastime for over half of my life for nothing. They've earned their ineptitude ever since they allowed the dipshit Bowie Kuhn to serve as commissioner.

Let's hope his shittier calls favor LA.

I remember the umpires being chosen on a rotational basis in the old days. Performance on the field be damned (typical union shit). Thought currently they were picked on merit. Apparently I was wrong.

Super nervous about tomorrow. Just can’t lose to these Gnats. It would be one of the most painful losses of that happens.

And one of the sweetest wins if LA pulls it off.

remember watching mcwire and sosa all happy like everyone else and then it was like well duh?
i think its like that in fact i'm pretty certain of it
look at Webb's head tomorrow and know he was banned 80 games in 19 for ped's and still sucked
now he's suddenly one of the best in the game?
that's just one on a team of miracles
    not buying it ever

    Solid point.

The Astros BLATANTLY cheated in 2017 and still got their trophy. People will cheat if it's obvious they can get away with it. Add in the millions in merchandising a team can make when they win a title, and the Houston team took their shot, got their ring, and still haven't apologized. That message was received loud and clear to all the other teams.

The gnats MIGHT be legit. It's possible that four lackluster hitters and three pitchers, plus two hotshot rookies are each having the seasons of his life without chemical or technical assistance. It's entirely possible.

But the law of averages says HORSESHIT to that. And while it may be equally equine feces that they are cheating ... nothing surprises me anymore.

BTW - regarding game 5 ... ask 29 GMs right now if they had a choice between Webb or Urías, which one would they take? Every one would prefer Urías ... if you say otherwise ... you're out of your cotton-picking mind.

LA may well lose on Thursday. But Urías is FAR superior to that bulbous noggin honky fuck out of Rocklin HS. I'll trust the Mexican.

    Always.Trust.TheMexican.

Any shred of optimism I may have comes from knowing that these moments aren't too big for Julio.

But unless the hitters figure out how to lay off of Webb's garbage, this is not likely to end well for us.

I think Lux is the wild card versus Webb. That kid may just be good enough to slap that sneaky junk Webb throws into the bay.

Anyway... we'll have our answer soon enough.

Webbhead ? Never took you for a Spidey fan...
Sure, the motherfucker's got a big head. Maybe he's got a little sack and johnson, too...but I ain't gonna check.
Everyone can believe what they want to...it's all as valid as the next.guy.
But no one, NO ONE, is telling me how the fuck they're getting past urinalysis. t
How? And if old guys who play well and have career years are dead giveaways for PED use, like Buster and Crawford, how do you explain JT? Scherzer ? Wainwright ?
Shit, this fucking stroonz Webb is 24 years old...looks like a fucking brick wall. He can't be naturally good ?
I hope you're not right for one reason...and one reason only...
If they are, and it's discovered, it won't matter, especially if they win. No one will do shit to whatever they gain
as a team, just individual wrist slaps, just like those other orange pile of turds, the Astros.
What happened to them ? They're back in the ALCS, and so is one of the principle architects of it all, as a manager.
We just have to beat him that's all. Big head an all.
Maybe he's related to Bochy ?
    The new Giant Head...

Seriously? How do they beat urinalysis?

Easy. Use something currently undetectable. These chemists develop new shit faster than the Chinese release pandemics upon the world. If MLB is ever good at one thing, it's being five years behind the technology.

Again, BZoo - you may be dead on. Maybe. We may be dead wrong. Yes indeed. But stop believing that MLB gives a shit about PEDs and performance enhancements. Their blind spot is a gaping hole. They'll only start caring if the enhancements kill few athletes.

So ... let's just see what happens. Webb isn't Koufax or Drysdale or Marichal or Lincecum. He's having a great year but he's entirely beatable. The Padres smacked him around plenty this year.

And in case I haven't been clear - fuck the Giants.
