    I wonder how much of his resurgence is personal spite at being cut so often vs. coaches Brown or Van Scoyoc?

    Incidentally, I had to look those two guys up. Who the hell are they anyway?

    I'd feel really good about going into the playoffs with a hot JT and Muncy. Bonus points if Thompson is our starting CF.

    I know one championship is not enough and we all want and expect more, but I've got to say, three consecutive (non covid shortened) seasons of 100 wins is pretty damn cool.

    Wish he could remove the "we" from his vocabulary. Orel does some of that as well.

    If you're going to attempt to fill the Vin shoes at least act like a professional, not a fucking homer.

    Absolutely no one is trying to fill Vin's shoes.That would be more than a complete fool's errand.
    The fact that Orel and whomever else uses "we"gets that much vitriol out of you ?

    Well, the "we" in sports reporting has unfortunately become commonplace now. Gone are the days of the professional sports announcers who are able to remain objective. Not sure who started the "homerism" approach, but guys like Krukow and Kuiper have done their share to push it along. I don't mind it so much on a TV broadcast, because I can still see for myself and make up my own mind, but when I'm listening to play-by-play on the radio, I'm counting on the announcer to give me an unbiased account of what is happening on the field, and I know that's no longer the case, so I have to take their words with a grain of salt. It's really a shame.
