Look, it's all good, I just don't get every saying "fuck that motherfucker piece of shit" or things along those lines to a player or a team I love. Sorry....

Plus, when you get like that, all you are doing is making yourself feel like shit, it doesn't impact the team one bit.

I really couldn't care less about other people's approach. Everything starts with someone else throwing out comments about others. Every time. Not really a battle I choose to pick. If everyone could just dgaf about how others root for their team it would be a happier place.

Ultimately, we like each other enough to keep coming back so let's just try to dgaf it.

First off, don't be sorry BLF. :) Second of all, I would never talk shit to a player in person. When the entire stadium boos Andruw Jones or Juan Uribe, I don't participate. I just sit there. I would never boo a player or yell that they suck. I can say whatever I want about them behind their under performing backs ;)

On the contrary, it makes me feel great! The player popping up in foul territory is what makes me feel like shit. I love excessively piling it on. Gets it out of my system. Feels ammmmmaaaaaaaaaazing. :whack:

I am a two-faced asshole. I would have a hard time booing almost all Dodgers but for Uribe, I would gladly make an exception. IMO, he came here unprepared and not willing to do the small things. He is a waste of space and salary.

I have said it before that this move will look great next year. This FA class sucks donkey balls for offensive players. 2014 is not much better. DBB is fucking with the lineup left and right (no pun intended) but also trying not to piss off his new stars or his old ones. Next year, that shit will not matter. Ethier in the 2 hole is fucking perfect. I have said from the beginning. Let him do what he is good at. Give up the power for the walks. 20 Hrs with a nice avg and good OBP is better than 30 Hrs with a low avg and low OPB. Kemp is hurt but is our 3 hole hitter. AGon is your 4 hole hitter. PERIOD. He can protect Kemp until he cannot. If, indeed, his bat speed has slowed tremendously, you move him to the 2 hole and Ethier behind Kemp. The article was spot on. You have 4 guys who are used to being stars and not table setting or thinking as a team. Ramirez is the one guy that I do worry about learning this skill. Ironically, he is doing better than the rest of the acquired guys. Also, I think Crawford is looking forward to not being the guy counted on to clear the bases. He excelled atop the lineup when he was used for his strengths. He finally gets to play to them with this team.

Take 100+ million of a player who isn't even worth a fraction of his deal and not consider one of the best players in baseball? Whatever. Pretty stupid to not think about a guy like Hamilton when you fished out MORE money on 3 inferior players. All moot. Just sayin. For the record, I am talking about this in the context of before the Adrian trade, why they wouldn't think about Hamilton but go out and do what they did.

The Dodgers are not alone in their opinion of signing Hamilton which was within the same article.

"The Angels, Red Sox, Yankees, Mets, Braves, Nationals and Orioles don’t seem like logical destinations for Hamilton, Olney writes."

I'd cry if they got Hamilton.

But no way they can afford him. He's gonna get max money and is 31/32. I'm sure they don't want to get burned by another bad contract ala Zito.

Agree with MZA. They cannot afford him. However, if they do, they are screwing themselves on a few contracts.
