    I hear you on that, it would definitely be a gamble. I wouldn't go 100 mill either, I could live with 12-14 million. I guess it all depends on what spects they would want back from us too. We'll see what happens.

    David Wright's club option can be voided if he gets traded. I guess it's just up to Wright; but I'd imagine the guy wants a payday.

    In other news, Bill Shakin thinks we should go after Carl Crawford if he comes back strong and healthy. Could probably get him on the cheap but idk.

    interesting pieces by shaikin today. interested to see he says hamels is not likely for the dodgers. why? the crawford speculation is just that but i can see a lets take a contract in return scenario. wright would be amazing but cant see him being traded since the farm is horrible too.

    He said something about it won't be possible for a trade with 3 prospects for a star about Hamels... But no one is expecting the Phillies to trade him. Weird.
