Wood looks like crap lately

but seriously when B-Mac comes back Wood should start about every 10 days

 

I think Wood is pitching more like he is likely to pitch in his career, however long it lasts. What he did earlier was spectacular, but drenched in a bit of luck and a physical peak. He is definitely trending downward, and by Oct., who knows?
Maybe just a slump, but stat heads say indications are not joyous. He is getting squared up big time. If the lineup sleepwalks, like recently, he's not gonna win.
Quite honestly, right now, Ryu is headed for the number three slot, with a fervent hope of a full CK and Darvish return. I find Maeda and Hill very shaky. Iffy.
If they struggle, then I guess the depth will have to answer the bell.
