So many things wrong with the lineup. Grandal needs to play, or go on the DL. Turner leading off? Why are we trying so hard to make Howie in the middle of the order happen? How are you sitting Joc in favor of SVS and Kike? Just terrible. And of course I'll be there.
Strange line-up indeed but let's see how this goes before we shit all over it lol. MAYBE Joc running into the wall slowed him a bit? Oh by the way Joc is the only left handed bat we have in the OF. Justin hasn't been god awful for sure.
Could be it, perhaps Joc just needs a day? Or wonder if Joc is learning some LF? Maybe they're looking for some stability in CF being that Joc sits against lefties a lot of the time and Trayce is gonna ultimately get the everyday spot there? Trayce's natural spot is CF and long term outlook as far as this season goes SVS/Ethier make a lot of sense in RF, and Joc/Kike/Howie in LF More likely it's just a day off for Joc for whatever reason tho and he goes back to CF next game. Hope to see them flip the 2B and 3B spots in the order when Utley comes back, 2B/Utley leads off, 3B/Turner moves to the 5 spot - where Howie is today...Puig stays where he is currently - on the DL for the rest of eternity
