    I genuinely didn't either. I usually assume ESPN numbers are accurate without a second thought. I think this was the first time in my life where I genuinely thought the numbers had to be wrong. So much so, I went to Fangraphs to verify myself and it's legit.

    We're so lucky to be getting a Gonsolin start on a CATURDAY.

    If not for a string bloop hits they would have been shut out in Denver.

    That isn't nearly as much of a problem as inability to go after anyone. He doesn't allow many runs, but he nibbles, his pitch count gets very high, I'd bet his in the zone % isn't very high.

    I get that a guy who has been around as long as Cody, a veteran, or maybe a pre-veteran, like diabetes, kind of earns the right to work it all out in the Show. But given the longevity of his JU 57 Stuka steep dive, sirens blaring, maybe it's time for the once spectacularly talented ex MVP to try a different tack to get back on track.
    idk what is done these days...stint in the minors...baseball psychologist guy...drug fueled weekend in Tiajuana...or Happy Felton's Knothole Gang, maybe? ( That's one for you fellow ancient ones).
    But something.
    Just gotta try something else...too much past and potential there to risk the droning mantra of failure to continue unabated...with not only possible crushing individual results, but worse, spilling over to the team.
    And of course, I don't believe the manager capable of fixing it by any of his methodologies.
