    We lost, we lost. It was going to happen at some point...so it was today. Now, just get back in the saddle.
    Guess the Padres are making there move ? (!)
    What I came away with was an underlying knowledge that Dave will always revert inevitability to the moron he is on a mitochondrial level. It's a given.
    But, imo, way more serious is the fact that Kimbrel has the absolute weaknesses within him at this point to totally ruin our season in the post season, where there is no cushion of 16 games to buffer his ineptness at his ultimate job.
    Really, in the playoffs, are we going to just annihilate the pitchers we face, or are we going to be facing guys akin to Singer's abilities ? Guys that could be hot and pumped like him ?
    My point being, closing games with us ahead by one run or so is much more likely than what we've enjoyed so far in August.
    Wake up and smell the closer's ERA, Andy.

    no way he should pitch after the 7th inning and with nothing less than a 4-run cushion
    should start working itself out when treinen, may and graterol return
    those are the guys (along with evan phillips) that need to get the ball in a close game

    this is the part that could negate any/all of what i said above
