    from ESPN...
    • The Rays' offensive struggles aside from Randy Arozarena are a big concern, as is their swing-and-miss game (they led the majors in strikeouts). Also, Tampa Bay's top relievers are all right-handed, which worked against the righty-heavy Yankees and Astros lineups, but with four lefty hitters the Dodgers will be more difficult to shut down in the late innings.

Rios is the dude that just keeps blasting. Had he not had the calf injury a few years ago that legit impacted 2 seasons, he would have been up long before this season. I have said it before, scouts either loved him or hated him coming up and there was no in-between. He was viewed either as power hitting 1B/DH or a massive swing and miss dude that should fizzle out somewhere around AA due to his defensive liabilities.... then they called him a quad A when he did well in AAA. He is striking out a lot this post season, but he has still run into a couple and that can't be ignored. He should be starting every game this series that a RHP is going. With playoff Joc arriving last series, he needs to be starting in LF and Rios needs to be our DH. Kershaw's personal catcher thing is such bullshit and really weakens the lineup.

Do you move Cody up to cleanup tonight? Ride the confidence and I’m pretty sure he has a couple of HR’s off of Glasnow

i can see the argument both ways. Stick with what worked OR unleash a little more power with Cody

Max hasn’t been atrocious though and him getting his walks to be on base for Smith/Cody has led to some big innings. He’s not making great consistent contact but still flashing power. Actually Max OPS last series was above 1.000 which LOL wow. He’s been good enough for sure

I honestly just stick with our usual lineup 1-6 today, with a 7-9 of Taylor-Joc-Barnes

I would like Muncy moved down in the lineup at least. He’s just not the same Muncy lately.

FUN! So I am quarantined in my basement for the next couple of days cause a client of mine has become very ill in the last 24 hours and I was around them over the weekend. Not like I am insanely busy with work and have a newborn baby or anything. So I will probably be lingering on here a good bit until my client can get his COVID test results back. I was at least a negative, but the last thing in the world I want is to pass this along to my wife or the baby.

no surprises here, let’s get it. Glasnow gives up a ton of home runs, we hit home runs, let’s light him up. Looking for Taylor/Joc to swing away and swing hard

That doesn’t make him a cleanup hitter though.

Tough break but now you can have a guilt free week dedicated solely to Dodger Baseball.

    Living the dream!

For real though, that sucks. We just had a COVID scare, my mom and 92-year-old grandma had a friend over who tested positive for COVID the night after she visited them. The friend is in the hospital and we are hoping for a recovery. It's been a week with no symptoms for my mom and grandma and they tested negative, fortunately. For me, I lost my babysitter for the week as we kept the 3-year-old home.

Obviously not everyone is going to be hot at the same time, but would like to see Taylor get it going.

the Rays are a really fucking good team, the best in the AL and arguably 2nd best overall. Some of the best pitching we’re gonna face in years

and I can’t help shake that we should feel great about this series. We SHOULD beat them if our players come to play. They have holes in their lineup, and although their pitching is great, they have some weak spots we gotta exploit. Lack of contact and high amount of home runs... man. Just do your jobs, don’t choke, trust your teammates, and let’s get this.
