when you watch the lethargic lame ass plays and abs it just seems like no one is doing any kind of preparation beyond some bp and a few ground balls
the last two months they've looked like a bottom dwelling team

 

i'm sure davey is busy lighting a fire in that clubhouse cause these games really matter don't they?
do you really have to tell players not to run on balls hit in front of them?
guess its something that needs to be communicated on every play by the looks of it
for real i don't think there's any way the team is practicing fundamentals on a daily basis

 

Yeah. They won it all last year & got that taste for it. Great.

but thats done. This year ... they rest on last Fall and play this summer like fatted cattle waiting for the slaughter.

Fuck these guys if they don't care. We clearly want it more than they do.

 

Three solid baseball wins against the Reds followed by two piles of shit against the Dbacks.

Another flaccid effort against a starting pitcher they've hammered unmercifully in the past.

 

The starting pitching seems to be coming into shape for the stretch run.

But the offense isnt good enough. Smith doesnt hit in the second half, Teoscar is horrible, Mookie is having a dreadful year, Muncy is out, Conforto is on the team, and the main core is aging in general.

two people, two decent tickets, two dogs, two beers and parking can be done under $400 most nights

 

Crazy. Ive only been to 2 games since 2019. Used to be at least 15 games per year.

 

yeah i haven't paid for tickets in a long time, maybe four years or more
there's several parents at the school that give us tickets w parking so i go maybe once a year
i do check seatgeek every now and then and its pretty shocking what even top deck tickets to an average game are selling for
walk up and grab 2 beers and dogs and its $70 which is totally gay
and you probably miss 2 innings doing it

 

Been to 1 game in the past 5 years (free tickets and free parking)
Still spent about $100 on two dogs, two beers, and two waters
It is simply too expensive to warrant going to a game
I'd rather watch the game at home
