    fire the fucking hitting coaches. fuck this shit. that is inexcusable 3 runs in 2 games. you can NOT be making those mistakes against a trash team like the Marlins. idiot manager is sacrificing in front of our best hitter. Best hitter doesn't know how to run the fucking bases. How fucking dumb can this team be? then Fraudie stares at a center cut meatball then chases trash to hit into a double play. Who the fuck does he think he is? Why is this team so FUCKING BAD at hitting pitches right down the fucking middle?

    I'd like to believe that Snell's return will boost the rotation. But for the most part, the rotation has not been the issue and unless it's Sasaki that he replaces, I don't think it will help all that much. The problem is currently the hitting. The bottom 3 or 4 have exceeded expectations, but the top, and to some extent the middle, have fallen short. Ohtani was lacking by his standards, although he's started being a little more productive as of late. Freeman is definitely concerning -- has he crossed over to that age where he just doesn't have it anymore or is it simply a slump? Smith, despite his three hits the other day, has been a disappointment this year. Tucker as we all know is not showing yet that he's worth that contract, despite coming up with the game winner the other day that could have just as easily been hit right at an infielder. Teoscar is inconsistent - two hits and a HR one day and 0 for 4 with 3 strikeouts the next three - and Pages is regressing to his mean faster than I would have liked. I'm not sure that Mookie's eventual return will move the needle much... Kim has filled in adequately, plus I worry that Mookie's bat will take a while to get going again as it did last year after his illness.

    Sorry to be such a debbie-downer, but such are my thoughts when the team struggles as it has.

    i think there's some reason to worry about FF but not worried about the team or him in the long term this year. we are in the same malaise we've found almost every year in recent memory and the pitching looks great. you'd think the bats would be at least somewhat active but the long season seems to be hitting them all at the same time. maybe too optimistic but i think they're fine and every team is going to play them like its the WS. just not a lot of fun to watch atm.
