we were discussing the slump and laststat asked Minnie how they slump bust for their cricket teams. before any words were spoken she spun and lit up the closest two fisted drinking latino, of which there were more than a few. chaos ensued and as the 250lb plus cholos stampeded and spilled beer trying to put him out we slipped down the stairwell . as shocking as it was she thought it was hysterical and apparently it worked. heard her say something like bloody good craic! and we retreated to opposite sides of the stadium as white smoke rose from the top deck. going to try and make better choices w family. i can do that right?

Breakfast tasted a bit better this morning after two straight wins against the butt plugs. Shame they had to scramble to get a split at home.

Sheehan getting better every start. So much hand wringing about his loss of "velo." Hit your spots to compliment your change and slider and a slight loss in velocity won't mean much. Only mistake he made was walking the #9 hitter in front of the the fluke inside the park HR. That was one of two bloop hits Sheehan allowed in his six innings.


Mixed night for Teo. Botched the bloop down the LF line, but had three hits and was part of two run producing rallies. Until last night he had been playing a solid LF. Light years better than a year ago in RF.

Also a mixed night for Miggy. Failed on the squeeze bunt and could have made a better throw on the relay at the plate. Made up for it later in the game with RBI single after a long AB.

Rushing fucked up for a good portion of the game with a needless early game challenge. He approaches 2025 Pages stupid at times. He's also in a terrible funk at the plate. No concept of the strike zone.

Home plate umpire's inconsistency didn't help with the potential challenges.

Call with one of the strangest clutch two run singles you'll ever see. Had no idea where the ball was.

Scott continuing to look like the closer they hoped he would be a year ago.

Waited until the good call on Call as ph came to fruition...and went to bed. Fine comeback and a me asure of redemption of observing LF Teo screwed to pooch. Totally impressed, not only by Sheehan's really ballsy turn out there, but by his maturity with pouting and peulant Rushing initial fit and his reaction with the others on Rushing's second tantrum.
Shows a lot... and how he can take that and use it on the mound in the future bodes well for him
