The immune system improvements to babies with breastfeeding is enormous. Do it by all means. Mother to baby bonding is also great. Breast pumps are manditory or your poor wife will get no sleep. Most babies LOVE breast milk and respond enthusiastically. Some dads do too. Most Moms like the convenience of having instant food available as well, even if GOP puritans get up in arms about her whipping the girls out in public.
