Hey, @irish ... second half predictions thread perhaps? Team win totals? Scott's total blown saves? Finski's number of tranny hookers? I trust your judgment of course... because you're...
OVER/UNDER Dodgers win total - 97 (58 @ ASB) Tanner Scott's blown saves - 13 (7 @ ASB) Mookie's OPS - .815 (.696 @ ASB) Shohei's HRs - 64 (32 @ ASB) Will Smith's AVG - .333 (.323 @ ASB) Clayton's strikeouts - 68 (35 @ ASB) Finski's trannies - 5 (2 @ ASB) POLL Who will lead the team in RBIs? (ASB total) Teo (57) Sho (60) Will (46) Pages (59) Freddie (49) Mookie (45)
Fwiw ... my tranny avg is usually in the high single digits. No apologies but I'm getting into George Blanda territory... (ask FSU & BZoo who Blanda was - they coached him)
OVER/UNDER Dodgers win total - 97 (58 @ ASB) -- OVER - LED HOPEFULLY BY A HEALTHIER ROTATION Tanner Scott's blown saves - 13 (7 @ ASB) -- UNDER (EVEN ROBERTS WON'T LET HIM GET THAT MAN OPPORTUNITIES) Mookie's OPS - .815 (.696 @ ASB) -- UNDER, HE WOULD NEED TO GO BALLISTIC TO MOVE IT THAT MUCH Shohei's HRs - 64 (32 @ ASB) -- UNDER, THE MORE HE PITCHES, THE MORE A DETRIMENT TO HIS HITTING Will Smith's AVG - .333 (.323 @ ASB) -- UNDER, EVEN WITH THE REST HE'S GETTING, HE'S GOING TO WEAR DOWN SOME Clayton's strikeouts - 68 (35 @ ASB) -- TOUGH ONE, I THINK SLIGHTLY UNDER Finski's trannies - 5 (2 @ ASB) -- ANOTHER TOUGH ONE, BUT I THINK IT'S AN OFF YEAR AND HE CAPS OUT AT 4 POLL Who will lead the team in RBIs? (ASB total) -- TEO Teo (57) Sho (60) Will (46) Pages (59) Freddie (49) Mookie (45)
I used that number because MLB projects Mook to have a .890 by season's end. I shaved some off but I admit... even .815 is a huge number for him at this point.
OVER/UNDER Dodgers win total - 97 • under 92 Tanner Scott's blown saves - 13 • under 10; only because they stop using him in save situations Mookie's OPS - .815 • under .765; another case of the man keeping him down Shohei's HRs - 64 • under 61; pitching will hurt his hitting Will Smith's AVG - .333 • under .295; the rigors of catching will wear him down Clayton's strikeouts - 68 • over 78; kersh will finish strong, then announce his retirement Finski's trannies - 5 • under 2 • hermaphrodites don’t count as trannies Who will lead the team in RBIs? Pages 117 • pages stays hot, and has more rbi ops than shohei (leading off)
Dodgers win total - 97 (58 @ ASB)-Under. 94-68 Tanner Scott's blown saves - 13 (7 @ ASB). Under. If given the chance? He’d hit the over but surely we let Blake take over Mookie's OPS - .815 (.696 @ ASB) Under. I’ll go .720. Expecting Mookie to improve but not nearly enough to touch .800. Really hope this season doesn’t become the norm for him offensively Shohei's HRs - 64 (32 @ ASB) Under. I’ll go 56. I expect his offense to fall off a little bit with him becoming more and more focused on pitching. Will Smith's AVG - .333 (.323 @ ASB) Under. Will typically sees a decline in offense later in the season. I’ll say .292 Clayton's strikeouts - 68 (35 @ ASB) I’ll go over. 71 Finski's trannies - 5 (2 @ ASB) Over. Like Mookie, Finski is having an uncharacteristic year so far but I’m optimistic he will improve his numbers and finish with 8. POLL Who will lead the team in RBIs? (ASB total) Teo (57) Sho (60) Will (46) Pages (59) Freddie (49) Mookie (45) I’ll go with Pages. 109
Over/Under Irish's total beers (12oz) consumed before Game 162 (88 since Opening Day) 178 (Zima doesn't count, fkag)
