Wouldn't mind seeing this kid on the Dodgers. He's respectful, and seems to care about the game in the right way...could be just what we need offensively to fill the hole batting second in the lineup.
Especially if CT is the KKing he was this season, would be nice to have him in RF, as Mookie does CF or whatever mish mash they come up with as Belli could very well vaya con Dios.
He might not have the HR total in DS that he had in that bandbox Yankee Stadium, though. Almost assured.
Andy Andy should be saving some coin next year, shouldn't he ?

I absolutely, positively am in the minority here, but I would prefer that the Dodgers bring up nine rookies and put them into the starting and first alternate lineup options for next year.

I would like to see Trea Turner & Cody Bellinger elsewhere & Gallo, Trayce, & the other members of the goat rodeo playing in another uniform.

Keep JT but he's lefties only he's done as a fielder. Once CT3 strikesout for the 100th time, cut him. He's done. Enough already.

CK can stay but if he blinks on the offer, fuck it. Enjoy Arlington. You'll never win a ring there. And you know it.

After all, this team didn't trade these hot prospects for three or four top-notch stars that were already established from other teams. So use them, Freidman, you ego maniac. What the fuck harm can be done by putting them in and giving them first crack at the lineup and seeing what the hell could happen? What.. .... the Dodgers might only win 90 games? The Dodgers might be a wild card team? Since when is that a bad thing anymore? If they turned out to be a bunch of 83 win losers, but they had the horses to get hot in late September, that's all that matters, right!?

This dog piss arrangement of mlb no longer allows the regular season to mean anything, so why not scrap the whole damn thing? They don't give a shit about the 3.5-4 million fans who come through the turnstiles anymore. Dont pretend that you care because you DON'T.

Clearly the Dodgers are the most supported team in baseball but they don't give one cup of warm piss whether or not they win it in October because they got all their money in the regular season.

And the Dodgers need to address their regular season fan attendance. I watched 100 Dodger games between 1971 and 2015. In that span, I saw five fights at Dodger Stadium. In 2016-17.... I saw 100 in four games. And that's a conservative estimate.

But when gang-tatted felons and prison escapees became a quarter of the stands.... well fuck that. I am not supporting that nonsense. There, where I don't live & won't go anymore, or here, even if they travel to Cincinnati, St Louis, or Pittsburgh.

Sure. Houston looks unbeatable.

But remember the 1988 Dodgers & the 1990 Reds. On paper, those series ended in a four game sweep & a five game win for the overwhelming faves from Oakland.

I recall this because my "rarely got laid ass" played those series on Strat-O-Matic and that's how the series played out. Except they still.played them. Ditto the 2003 Yanks-Marlins. And the Cards over Detroit in 2006. And the Braves last year. Those were all chalkboard upsets.

Either way, IDGAF. But yeah ... The Astros look like a juggernaut. But that doesn't mean I can't hope that their plane goes down flying to Philly for game three.
