    Can we get Joc out of the 8 spot? At least put him in the 7th spot so we can get an actual read on him---he obviously has great discipline at the plate but much of his PAs are going to be artificial with thr pitcher behind him.

    Baker gave up 3 runs over 7 innings against a SD offense that i believe has scored the most runs in the NL thus far..

    fuck it. let it ride on Baker if that's how they feel.

    Baker isn't taking McCarthy's turn in the rotation, he's still taking the 5th spot's rotation but it looks like it'll work out the same being the off day on Thursday.
