A+ Irish. Sometimes, idk if you've messed with young Julio's face or not. I noticed that his eye looks somewhat better than last year cosmetically...as if it has opened up to a greater degree than before. That's great for the kid...with the $ he'll pull down in the future, it'll be senorita bonita fajita for Julio!

What's funny is that even though they have the 2nd highest payroll in the NL, their payroll never comes up when discussing their failures because they even fail the right way or something. Meanwhile if the Dodgers don't win 153 games with their payroll it's as if they light money on fire. Flags fly forever I guess
I'm trying not to read too much into the sweep of the Phillies, because... well, Phillies. Along those same lines, we need a sweep over the Gnats at home. This is a crappy team with morale damaged by Bumgarner's stupidity, the rotation's ineffectiveness, Melacon's inconsistency, and the hitters' mediocrity. The Padres just took 2 of 3 in SF. Anything less than 3 wins in this series is a failure.
The fucked up thing is no matter how bad SFG is, LAD will always struggle to kick their ass head to head, always have these tight contests. LAD should be wiping the mat with these fools, their high end talent isn't as good, their depth isn't as good, their rotation is overrated, their pen is cheeks, and on and on..and they'll still for some god awful reason give LAD a hard time. Can we just blow these MFs out in a sweep? I'm begging like Keith Sweat..pleeeeeeeeeease

That homer, Krukow, has some deeply insightful analysis of the Gnats current problems.......wait for it......they're just "snake bit". Yup....singles aiming straight for the gloves....Alphabet Soup is pitching great, has just been unlucky....Krukow is a strong believer in the calendar flipping to another month. God I hate Krup. I hate being up here in Gnat land and have to listen to this drivel everyday.
I haven't seen anything from him to indicate he's a good or great base runner though. If he's leading off, might be better off to not risk a steal and keep someone on base for Seager/Turner
Since hiring Andrew Friedman the Dodgers have been bottom 5 in the league in SBs every year, and so far the trend is continuing this season. Part of that is personnel, but it's also a sabermetrics/by-design thing.
