Next walk off I reckon the Dodgers should just head to the showers. No fuss or fucks given. Send the message that yeah, we do this shit often.
"For every action there is an equal and opposite reaction"....this brutalization of the CF is a perfect counterbalance to Puig's open homoerotic public kissing display...my heart goes out go the pudgy fellow who went down. At least Piazza had enough discretion to engage in his man kissing in secluded and darkened area of a bistro in NYC. And the counterbalance was marrying a very beautiful babe beard, and, uh...going into the HoF.
I'm tempted to grab a seat at Saturday's game. I haven't seen a Gnats-Dodger game in person since Opening Day 2002, and that went poorly. Still, I get the feeling that the Frisco fans will be a bit more subdued than the last time we saw them. Last place looks good on them. I hope they like it there. It suits them.
I'll second all these 'delay the celebration' posts. One day, I'd like to add this caveat, too; the Yankees popularized champagne in celebrations back in the 30s. That was their NY way of saying "f**k you all, we are Wall Street tycoons and you cannot afford champagne!" Once, ballplayers weren't obscenely overpaid, and they drank suds, not Dom Perignon. It'd be beautiful to see the Blue celebrate a WS this year, or any year, but it'd be sweet to see them guzzling and spraying canned beer around the clubhouse. The rest of us could relate a lot more to that action. I know I can. Champagne is some overrated crap IMO. </rant> </damn kids now off my lawn>

Our new line-up vs lefties going forward? 1. Chris Taylor (R) LF 2. Corey Seager (L) SS 3. Justin Turner (R) 3B 4. Cody Bellinger (L) 1B 5. Logan Forsythe (R) 2B 6. Austin Barnes (R) C 7. Enrique Hernandez (R) RF 8. Joc Pederson (L) CF 9. Alex Wood (R) P
Loving Puiggy right now but he is lost vs lefties. Sooner or later he'll have to deal with his lack of success but Kike is hitting .333 since the break with a 1.256 OPS.
