Yeah...now I'm fucking "liar". Because I used terminology that you don't like, or may have even been wrong? So motherfucking what? I already said it was wrong, but you gotta tell me now " it's a lie"? Pathetic.
You've already suggested that I commit suicide because I don't agree with the way you think. Or you don't like the way I express myself...now you "have to call me out"...lol. Psycho much?
Oh, BTW, you can see the future? Wow. Who knew?
Or, is what you really mean..."wait 'till next year" ?
Never heard that one before .

You're a real fucking piece of work, ya know that?

You never said it was wrong, you said I was being pissy because "I didn't say it right". Make shit up much? Terminology? Not even close, you were careful to word it so that it appeared that the FO signed a guy to a long term deal with a multiple injury history when that was not true, because it suited your viewpoint. Here's a concept, why don't you try knowing what the fuck you're talking about before you post? Wow! What a concept!

Yes, I'll call you out, every fucking time you blow off your big mouth with no facts to support it. The difference between you and me is that when I post something I take time to check the facts, and not try to pass my opinion off as the truth. When I post my opinion, I make it clear that it IS my opinion. You continually try to make people believe your opinion is fact.

No, I can't see the future but any piece of shit can see the past, which is all you can see. At least, it's all you talk about. Fuck that shit.

And for the record, I didn't suggest you commit suicide because you didn't agree with my thinking. I suggested you commit suicide because you've never had a positive thought about this team since I've been on this board. Seriously, if everything is so horrible go ahead and end it. No need to keep suffering...and keep us suffering.

Well you saying I've never had a positive thought about the team since you've been here is bullshit, a lie. You're incapable of coming away with anything else because your hatred renders you so...sad.
And even it were true, who the fuck are you to tell a person what they should do...or how they should be. You are the biggest fucking hypocrite here...hold people up to ridicule, call them out on anything they don't agree with you on, won't accept that anyone has another, possibly correct ( or even incorrect), alternate viewpoint. You've taken the format of another one of your "enemies", and adopted it wholeheartedly, although he was a " bkitch" 40 fucking times. You're just not as smart as you fancy yourself, man...not nearly. And you are pissy.
You have to be right over everyone else, and will jump on minutia to make it so...pathetic.
You will wait and remind a poster, like you just did to LA BUMS, if you think it makes you righter, no matter how much time has passed. Not enough sunshine comin' your way these days? You need that shit?
You also have moaned and groaned about life and your water pipes or whatever, and complained plenty about all kinds of shit...but if someone else you don't like does it, they should die. At least I bitch about bb on a bb website. Your the big tough guy who writes "nanny nanny pooh pooh". Psychoanalyze that one.
I guess you relish the role of FO Avenger, or king of the OBEY Boys. Amazing how you want to control anyone who doesn't have your opinion...most just accept it as part of life.. Not you; you argue endlessly like a cunt having her menses. Instead of telling everyone else how and what to do, maybe take a look at yourself. Not perfect either.
So you know: I've got a two word answer for you in the future.

Kershaw & Grienke combo should have been kept together, Both CY Young Candidates every year. I am a player facing the Dodgers, I am like WTF ...... In a 3 to 4 game series 2 games are going to take a lot of focus and hard fought games, most likely the odds of winning is very high .........To me that was the best left handed and right handed pitching in the league and not a steep drop on 3, 4, and 5 and even 6.. But that is the past and will not dwell on it because it is gone and nothing can change that.

I am a big believer Quality over rides Quantity and that is what we got. Good players in quantities, with health issues and they might hold up but beware they may crash and burn.....

Think of it this way, would you ride a good plane that has mechanical issues or will you ride a plane that is good to go with flying colors? They both can crash and burn and you die, but the percentage is the issue here.

The way I view the Dodgers is an Organization with Strong Winning History with some financial push. Set your core and fill in the gaps with youth or strong veterans. Grienke was part of that Core.

I see both sides of the argument, but here is where I differ or 'nitpick' as some say.

We went into a lot of 3 game or 2 game series with NEITHER Kershaw or Grienke starting, sometimes it just works out that you are going into a city with your 3, 4, and 5 guys starting.

With your plane/percentage analogy I can bring you "down to earth" so to speak. Yeah, I want that A1 mechanical plane everytime, BUT...I can't have it because over time I'm going to get that 3rd, 4th, or 5th quality plane so the percentages say you are still very much at risk even with a strong 1 and 2. And like you say, even they can crash and burn so it's an inherent risk. (My apologies to frequent flyers.)

Your view of the organization is almost opposite of the view of the owners and FO. Set your core with youth and some strong vets and fill the gaps with FA when necessary.

I guess you may be right, but you just don't let go of special players like that. Those type of players take years and time to see them grow.

You don't want to let go of players like that, but at the same time you don't want to mortgage the future to retain them beyond their usefulness. There's a point (just like in an auction) when you have to measure your desire for something vs. value of it.

I understand, but it's the reckless spending that got the Yanks and Phillies hamstrung.

Dodgers earn B- grade for offseason
by Justin Russo | Dodgers Nation — 2 hours ago

All offseason long, the fine folks over at Sports Illustrated have gone through and given their offseason report card tallies for each and every team. Today, it’s the Los Angeles Dodgers’ turn to get their grade, and it’s pretty darn fair with all things considered.

According to them, the Dodgers graded out with a B-, which means they did good, but not great. It also means they didn’t do poorly, which is a lot better than what some fans think truly happened after the team lost free agent right-hander Zack Greinke to the Arizona Diamondbacks for well over $200 million.

From Jay Jaffe at Sports Illustrated dot com:
"It wouldn’t be a surprise if the team deals from their depth to pull off a blockbuster before Opening Day, but even now, it’s a squad that should again contend."

That’s the last line in the article, and he’s not wrong. The team does have a slew of depth, namely in the outfield and starting rotation, so dealing from either, or both, stockpiles could lead to a net result that greatly improves the team’s chances at winning something substantial.

As Jaffe goes on to mention, the Dodgers still need to find a suitor for outfielder Andre Ethier and also improve upon their bullpen. Theoretically, the team could look to accomplish both feats with the same stone if they’re able to find the right deal with the right team.

Or maybe the Dodgers’ bullpen fix is right in their organization already in the form of either left-hander Alex Wood or right-hander Frankie Montas. Either one would be a boon to the bullpen for the time being if the starting rotation doesn’t need them to make an impact in the first half of 2016.

As a business travel who has more frequent flyer miles than places to go to use em... I take issue with the plane analogy... Can we please use something different... Say the sleep with a hooker , you're bound to get aids type of shit?

Thanks in advance for everyone's cooperation with this...bkitches

I just read that our flamethrower Montas is out 2-4 months after a rib operation, which I'm sure is why these hacks traded for him...

Meanwhile, Chapman will be cleared to play since the Yankees just avoided arb with him..

I'm letting myself get really, pissed which is bad..

I know the flexibility arguement but the SP is not what I call ideal if we were going into a 5 game series with anyone.

Yes, the Grienke and Kershaw mix wasn't exactly a lock either, but if we are following the Royals formula, I don't think our BP matches up with theirs either, so the pieces aren't quite their. If we kept Grienke and Kershaw and added our current mix of BP signings, I think there was a shot of making this work.

As it is, I'm only hoping are stitched together SP can keep us in the pennant race to where we can then trade for that 2nd ace SP by the trade deadline. Ideally we need 3, but perhaps Kazmir or a healthy Ryu can fill that spot.

Having Chapman on the Dodgers probably makes a 92 win team a 93 or 94 win team. With relievers, they have small value.

Is this based on WAR value? Does WAR adjust for situation? Because if it doesn't I would think the calculated values based on average situations could vary greatly from actual value for a position like relief pitcher. Just thinking.
