I think all of those players, except Ethier, are on our books for 2 more seasons. Of course, they don't get a pass with McCarthy because they signed him. Overall, the extra salary they have covers that dead weight just fine. What is starting to concern me is the amount of deadweight our current FO is piling up on their own. It will be nice when we get out from under all the bandaid moves ownership made when they first took over, but it won't mean much if we pile up just as much dead salary in injured pitchers and Cubans.
