    I'm sure @irish will dress up this thread heading. I'm going to be on the road/in the air for the next several hours - just wanted to say that after last year's stressful stretch run, this is pretty damn awesome. Six games that mean nothing more (other than the magic number of 1) than each representing the opportunity to increase the franchise "most wins" record.

    Kershaw gets two starts in the series - that's a first in the regular season. He's going tonight and then they want him in the finale, with Urias pitching the day before. I guess that sets them up as 1-2 on Oct 11-12. Catman goes on Monday I believe for 3 innings or so. Then Anderson one game and the last I imagine will be Grove or Pepiot (or both). I doubt May starts any at this point, and I believe they see Heaney as long relief like yesterday.

    Anyhow, it's great to have six games to tune up, get healthy, say goodbye to Krumbel and Gallow (one could hope) and in general get mentally prepared for the upcoming money games.

    Julio-CK is looking like a pretty damn good 1-2 punch for the playoffs. Clayton has a 1.50 ERA in 6 September starts while Julio has a 1.48 ERA in September after posting a 0.90 ERA in August.

    you'd think if they were serious about keeping gallo around for the playoffs this would be a game to try and get him off
    i think they've seen enough and its Vargas' job to lose atm
    CT showing signs of life, Belli is not going anywhere and neither is Thompson
