I agree for BB, but Chick Hearn, hands down, is the greatest voice of sports ever. The guy was amazing and revolutionized sport broadcasting forever. Happy birthday Vin!
Not really. Take a look at any sportscasting rankings and find one that has Chick ahead of Vin, or even in the same neighborhood. Vin is the undisputed greatest. And yes, I've heard Chick and was very upset when he passed when I was in grade school. But Vin is way better. Chick actually had some flaws. Vin is virtually flawless. And I will respectfully end my side of this convo right now because I suspect it will get heated and I'm not down for it.
Chick and Vin are in a class of there own and nobody even comes close to them. I'd rank them 1A and 1A, yes I know I put A twice because they are that good. However if you put a gun to my head I'd have to say I liked Chick ever so slightly more than Vin. Regardless Happy B-Day Vin, you make it our birthdays every game you announce.
