    Another ho-hum W.

Eight starts and Buehler has only one good one to show for it. Hitting Blackman with a 0-2 pitch to start the game was an omen.

A lot of the postgame talk revolved around the grand slam, the missed check swing and the Teo HR, but two of the best ABs of the game were the walks drawn by Pages and Vargas. Didn't know Pages had that kind of AB in him.

Nice to see a 30 year old journeyman rook get a win. Strong second inning after a shaky first.

Ironic that the defensive play of the game was made by a CF on the day that the great Mays passed.

Yeah, Walker looks like he's washed right now. I get he still may be "recovering" but a ton of the peripherals don't look great - homerun rate, k rate, barreled up hits, hard hit %, etc.

Not sure about that. He was almost 2 years away from the game. He's leaving a lot pitches over the heart of the plate.

big fat pitches right down the middle
sounds like they're getting ready to send him to the IL
maybe CO air had something to do w the lack of movement?
given the time away and the two surgeries its pretty apparent we're watching his last Dodger days

I want Cavan Biggio to break the walk record every game he plays. Yup.
    What a weapon.
The best think about the Teo HR was his gesture to ( I'm assuming) Cave out in RF as he was freaking out.
I guess everything would have been hunky- dory if it was a fly out, then.

    great idea
throwing recovering pitchers into situations they’re probably not ready for — i feel like i’m sensing a pattern here…

i thought all stadiums needed that insipid netting but i guess not
wish we could vote on it at DS because that shit is annoying and takes away from the game
