    Because it's more than likely an aberration. I don't despise him, but he needs to throw strikes and he rarely does.

    I was at a beach house with friends Friday and Saturday and last night was wih girlfriend and company and today I eat All you can eat sushi lol

    This dodger game gets me sad all day though lol

    The bench sucks...clearly. To have not one guy who can come off of it with any power to speak of, is just bad baseball, flat out. Just like one LH RP. More Ned situations, who wants defensive utility types over anything else. It will get us, when things come back down to earth, exactly what it got us last year with last season's version of utilty central- mediocrity. Kennedy, Hairston, Sellers, Gywnn, et al--- maybe an RBI bingle once in a great while. That's it. No explosive guys. As Diablo says...you can't make "milquetoasts into rocks".
    Only this spectacular start can keep us floating hopefully when we get into heavy divisional play and inter league, where we traditionally suck.
    A banger would help substantially. Even the threat of one. I don't think anyone anywhere is worried someone comes off the Dodger bench and hits the 3 run HR with 2 outs.

    It's just gonna be tough. The Braves and Nats are playing very well, and are talented teams anyways. They can hit and we just can't.

    I don't think it was phony. We played bad teams and we did what you're supposed to do. We're gonna have some big losses but hopefully we can keep it up and once the new ownership is in control, we can pick up some players to help us make a decent push in October.
