I’ve seen some hideous Dodgers lineups over the years but it would be hard to top the 5-9 tonight. Barf
getting owned by one of the worst teams in bb that first place slot should be gone by the end of next week
This guy Estes is just making a pile of shit out of the Dodger lineup- another pile of shit. Estes doesn't impress me at all...maybe I'm just missing it, but I don't see anything but mediocrity here with this guy. Nothing special at all. We are just sinking sooo low.
It sure has. What a 180° turn around from a guy that was a force AB. Hard to imagine why. LA just not a "step up" team when adversity is peaking. Definitely, Roberts not a type like Bochy that can get maximum results out of players on a team wide basis when the chips are down. In fact they seem to worsen. And it's highly communicable
Yeah, this is going to be year 3 where we see a Will Smith significant drop in production in the second half. We've seen the drop in OPS in 2022 and 2023, and we're on pace for it again this year. Seems to me he could benefit from playing a little less, however I don't know that will 100% help. Regardless of that 10 year contract Will signed (very team friendly), I think we're bound to see a Rushing and Smith platoon sooner rather than later. It may not be a straight L/R platoon, but definitely some decent playing time for Rushing. The Dodgers seemed to indicate to teams that Rushing was basically untouchable in trades at the deadline, so it feels like the writing is on the wall there.
Seems Smith fell off the cliff earlier year, making me think it's more of a prolonged slump than fatigue.
or Will could start taking some balls at third catcher/third used to be a thing but maybe analytics prevents it like to think the guy is just in a slump and the loss of big bats around him doesn't help i know he's had bad spots before like everyone else
