    It's much more max effort and pitchers seeking spin much more so than the pitch clock. That said, extending it another five seconds wouldn't hurt.

    This max effort stuff starts when the pitchers are mere pups. Showcases want velocity.

    his 10 day IL stint ended a while ago
    really don’t understand why they don’t just dfa him
    yeah i get he’s still owed north of $20 mil, but you’re still going to have to pay him that whether he sucks here or somewhere else
    besides, if no one claims him (very likely) they could then ship him to the minors without his consent
    just seems like a waste of a roster spot… which could actually be said about a few guys tbh

    Dodgers should be stocking up on pitchers capable of going multiple innings. Have to adjust with a group of five inning starting pitchers.

    unbelievable how so many players on this team just take entire fucking games off. this team is not fucking serious. 4 hits vs a 4 ERA pitcher. fuck all the way off. all of these stupid bums

    Considering eveything, the lineup sucked even worse than Miller. I mean, was that pitcher something great ?
    I guess if you catch a team that has lost 5 straight, the odds are stacked in their favor to win. Law of averages.
    I guess I'm the only one who remembers Vinegar Bend Mizell ? Think he played for the Cards. The guy threw a bit like him.

    The guy ( Kopech) been really good, but the last RP/ closers we lionized were Phillips and Treinen.
    And then what happened...happened.
    His overall numbers are pretty mediocre, so as Mr. Wolfe said in Pulp Fiction,
    " let's not start sucking each other's dicks yet".
