I don't think he'll be around that long either...but it's the Colletti-led Dodgers, and logic has been thrown out the window many times before. Like: "if we pay a guy a lot of money, even if he sucks elephant penis and bats in the 1oo's 0r 200's, he will play, no matter who waits in the wings and is simply a better option". Or: "if a pitcher was really good for a few years, even though he sucks and his arm is hanging off now, he still deserves a huge contract in length and money". In some ways, Ned, IMO, has become the Yogi Berra of GMs...not in words like Yogi, but in actions. It's actually worse...the funny Berra logic can be laughed at and then forgotten- what Ned does dictates torture for fans and the team for years sometimes. Not so humorous.
