I’m puzzled. There are loads of posts throughout the past few years absolutely ripping apart Seager for being injured all the time, not hitting in the clutch, not being a consistent defensive player, and a million other deficiencies. And now everyone is crying crocodile tears because the Dodgers didn’t re-sign Seager to a massive 10-year contract at over $320M? Schizo much? It’s a loss, but absolutely predictable, and unsurprising. I wish Seager luck with the Rangers but staying healthy over those 10 years is going to be a challenge, and I do think these teams are overpaying just to get in under the lockout that’s coming. They are going to kill their roster in the process. Frankly, I have no problems right now with what is happening. But I’m not letting the FO off the hook either. I think only time will tell.
