I am all for spending major $$$ on the offense. The offense was pretty bad most of the postseason.

Fortunate we even made the NLCS considering they shit the bed in the WC game and 3 out of the 5 games vs the Giants.

A comeback by Bellinger and Lux fulfilling his potential would go a long ways to fixing that offense.

Cody's injury setback really hurt him. But it was amazing how badly he fell. I like Lux, but he may the guy without a position if we were to acquire Freeman. Could ship him and/or Pollock in exchange for some badly needed starting pitching.

Remember when there was freedom of speech ?
I actually saw a painting once and that was a title in a series of four...
By a guy named Rockwell, I think. Became the head of the American Nazi Party.
    Smoked a pipe.
    Go figure...

I’m not taking MLB’s side here, but he was employed by MLB. Usually, if you publicly criticize the CEO of the company you work for, you don’t last long in that position. It would be no different if you publicly criticized the CEO of Google and you were an employee of Google.

I am always amazed by people thinking free speech equates to continued employment. They are not the same.

Next time, Ken should probably work for a company where journalism is the main source of revenue, not the game itself. Something tells me this was all calculated by Ken and he did so with eyes wide open.

He knew he would be hired by a real journalistic sports entity. He really has nothing to lose.

That’s why you folks get so bitter. You ask for that which won’t ever happen.

I’m not sure if you ran a company, you would tolerate someone bad mouthing you in public and then keeping him employed. That will get out of hand really quickly.

I'm not bitter about it, just sad.
It's not bitterness because you say it is...and the " you folks" reference/usage is very telling, imo. Some people are amazed that free speech doesn't " guarantee" keeping your job ( your words) , but the antithesis of it....the guarantee of losing it.
    As in your world.

In another life I used to be a teamster.
    For UPS.
Sure it's the USPS which actually runs the show.
Either way... I'm not sure you know whose boss.
The boss is not the guy behind the shield.
It's the front and center of the shield itself.
    That's the boss.
Only one you don't ever bad mouth.
Specially if your uniform doesn't get dirty.
