Yeah but it'd be cool to stop hearing about how bad our "number 2" starter Kazmir is like it gives a fuck when you pitch during the regular season.

Not implying and never implied because of the groin injury alone. This sets him way back on his timetable to even get rehab starts. He hasn't even completed his pre-Spring pitching practices.

Combined with that torn labrum, you think Ryu can come back this year or that the FO would risk it?

    Yes.

He was already coming back in May, June at the latest. The groin thing might push him back to July.

    Giants and Dbags in extras.

Every time a ball is hit the Dbag announcer says "hit amongst the seagulls"..and I mean EVERY TIME.

Listening to Brenly is as painful as listening to Krukow.

HAHA.... Giants lose. One of their idiot fans picks up a fair ball....gets kicked out, and his girlfriend is so embarrassed, that she leave with him, with her hoody covering her entire face.

AND, the Kings win in overtime.

Not a bad day in LA.

Krukow is such an ass. Homer beyond homer.

Guy tried to justify Bonds use of roids as "If you're not cheating, you ain't trying."

Kuipe isn't so bad.....but his home run calls annoy.

Krukow once referred to Bonds as a "martyr."

Agree on the Kuiper home run call. Annoying and also lifted from an old Braves' announcer. Fuck that little fat rat.

I used to think they were competent announcers, were fair, and called the game non- homer, next to Vinny in the pecking order. Their voices aren't bad baseball voices at all...
But in recent years, ever since the mini dynasty appeared, they have gotten super homerish, and way overboard with the Madbum "greatness" , and saying "sit down meat", for being pissed he made out against him to a Dodger, did it for me.
Fuck these guys, and if they win again, then we are their beasts of burden. Let's face it.
Fucking shit has to stop sometime. Enough is enough.

Best fans in baseball are at it again.

Jason Heyward allegedly hit with racial taunts
KATE FELDMAN NEW YORK DAILY NEWS Updated: Today, 2:34 PM ET

Jason Heyward’s return to St. Louis was marred with alleged racial slurs.

In addition to booing, crowd mics picked up multiple Cardinals fans allegedly yelling the N-word at the new Chicago Cubs right fielder, who played last season for the Redbirds.

Heyward — who signed an eight-year, $184 million contract in the offseason — spent just one year with St. Louis.

Sadly, fans who who felt slighted by his so-called betrayal, felt booing wasn't enough to get their point across.

Isn't Mike Matheney always going on about parents not getting too into their kids sports. That it's just a game, etc.

Maybe the team's fans are the first group he should preach to.

    MLB extends Hector Olivera's leave
Associated Press — 90 minutes ago

NEW YORK -- Atlanta Braves outfielder Hector Olivera's paid administrative leave has been extended through May 3 in an agreement by Major League Baseball and the players' association.

Olivera was arrested April 13 and charged with assaulting a woman at a hotel outside Washington, D.C. He was charged with assault and battery, a misdemeanor, and bond was set at $10,000.

Officers were called to the Ritz-Carlton Hotel in Pentagon City, where a woman with visible bruises reported that Olivera had assaulted her, Arlington Police spokeswoman Ashley Savage said at the time. Savage said Olivera and the woman were acquainted.

Under baseball's domestic violence policy, paid administrative leave is limited to seven days, but management and the union can extend that if both sides agree. The extension was first reported by Fox.

The 31-year-old Olivera defected from Cuba, agreed to a $62.5 million, six-year contract with the Los Angeles Dodgers in May and was traded to Atlanta on July 30.

Olivera continues to receive his $4 million salary while on leave.
