I know two people who are from Toronto, and they tell me that the goon factor of Jays fans is well known there. For some reason, that team has developed a jackassy fanbase in the last two decades. Pretty odd, as Toronto is a cosmopolitan place in my understanding ...

It is...or at least, certainly was. The guys I knew and their families were classy, honorable people, who went out of their way to show hospitality and superb manners and pride in their country...and what Americans thought was very important to them.
It really is a shame some cowardly, drunken scumbags paint them all as vulgarians, because they definitely are not.

Yeah, with what happened, that would be spot on...
But with the O's offense, near the top in many stats, I believe it is not unreasonable to assume ypur O will score a run...then a Britton shut down.
However, the Jay pen was super, so waiting for the O's O caught up with the plan, and rendered it moot.
There were many who thought Buck's IW in an earlier inning, and pitching to Bautista was stupidity personified, and it worked brilliantly.
    If it works, you're a genius...if it doesn't, you're a boring asshole.

Always liked James...got a bad rap because he didn't hit lots of HRs.
And HRs never really were his strength.
Just the useless 85 RBIs every year, and played 1st as good as anyone in MLB.

Nope, pretty much written in stone that they beat the Mets & Cubs.

When the 2016 post season is done, we will only have ourselves to blame for allowing Even Year Bullshit to live on.

Thor has been substantially better on extra rest and I believe this is 6 days for him. Apparently it helps with the bone spurs in his elbow. He needs to come out bringing that 98-100 heat with that low 90's sick slider, but can't miss the way he was against us last year. Yes, he did miss his spots a good bit last year, but we were so behind on everything it didn't matter. This Giants team has better ambush hitters than we had so it is going to be extremely important that he hits his spots and is bringing it. Only way Mets win is they can squeak out a couple of early ones or or get him out of there early by working the counts. I'm bummed they made it as their rotation is scary enough to carry them the whole way....

My friend works at Palace Station in Vegas. Word from him is that somebody played $100K at The Mirage on Frisco to win tonight's game. So either somebody knows something, or Fredo Corleone survived the Tahoe boat trip and he's still making foolish bets. As for the cocktail waitresses ...

I love how you've made Even Year Bullshit a proper noun

Looks like the end of the season sweep that didn't matter and many didn't care about, all of a sudden seems to matter bigger than shit...

Yeah, it is pretty much fait accompli, almost everywhere.
I know it's sophmoric, but why do douchebags who get upset when they are looked at, and commit many other acts of heightened douchebaggery, get the infallibility rise from every hack out there?
Shouldn't the scumbags lose once in a while?

Bumfuck is the master of the postseason.

    4-1 Pole Smokers.

A Cespedes solo HR will be the only whimper of protest.

In true Giant postseason fashion, look for a three run shot by Connor Gillaspie.
