    Translation:

DSP finally recognizes Black History Month in a desparate attempt to regain followers.

For me, the ABS challenge represents a miniscule attempt at correcting the ineptness of umpiring on a ML level. Every batter should be able to challenge at least once every AB if they're shitcanning the automatic balls and strikes thing. Even though the technology is absolutely available.
What I've seen so far in this short ST, considering challenges, is that the umpires still suck mightily as they have previously. Cyclopean turds.
And IDGAF who thinks she's horrible and dumb, Kristin is hot as a fuck and getting better looking and her tits are growing bigger and bigger.
They should have Dodger Beach day this year, and make her wear a bikini.

Ummm ... I'm obviously out of the DSP loop ... because I never knew about May's choking injury ... weird to put it mildly ....
    ----

Dodgers' May pitches for 1st time in 648 days after nearly dying

The weight has been lifted off Dustin May's shoulders.

The Los Angeles Dodgers right-hander appeared in his first game in 648 days when he pitched one clean inning against the San Diego Padres during his team's 8-3 spring win on Sunday.

"It felt amazing just to be back," May said, according to MLB.com's Jack Magruder.
"A huge, huge weight has been lifted off my shoulders, it feels like - even if it wouldn't have been a clean inning, just getting back in the dugout, feeling good, being here. It was really, really heavy. I'm alive. I'm glad I'm here. Just a huge excitement, like a breath of fresh air. Like a new beginning, kind of."

May threw 15 pitches in the outing, with the final toss clocking in at 95 mph and securing his lone strikeout.

The 27-year-old hadn't appeared in a game since 2023 after undergoing two elbow surgeries and recovering from a near-death experience last summer.

May detailed the life-threatening incident postgame, explaining that he tore his esophagus when a piece of salad got lodged in his throat while out to dinner with his wife and friends.

He remained in hospital for 11 days after undergoing emergency surgery.

"I was very close to getting back when I tore my esophagus. I was in a really, really great spot. It really sucked when it happened. I'm back to where I was then. I'm happy," May said.

The Texan is vying for a spot on the Dodgers' big-league roster and will likely be eased into a bullpen role if he makes the club

Nice to see Carrot Top back on the hill.

Liking what I see from Hope. He and pitching prospect Jackson Ferris might prove out to be a great return for Busch, who wasn't going to play much for the Dodgers anyway.

Yeah...must have been Iceberg lettuce, the same kind that can opened the Titanic.
Hard to fathom how lettuce can do something like this.
It was good to see him back up on the bump...wish him all the best.

Feduccia looks like smart money to me, too.
Also, Pages better rake offensively, because he sure looks cloddish out there in CF. Not doing himself any favors running in on balls that hit off the fence...

Keep reminding myself, spring training games mean nothing.

But then why does Taylor's 0 for 3, 3 K's feel so much like regular season?

    taylor’s done
that stupid loopy swing will forever get beaten by (even) average fastballs
he’s either incapable of changing or unwilling… possibly both
kiké, edman, kim and rojas are all better infield options, and although outman and pages are butchers in the field at least there’s a chance they’ll make contact
and if hope continues to look the way he does (no homo), i’d rather see him get a shot

If it were 1975, Taylor could be a starter based solely on his glove. In those days, weak-hitting utility men with hula hoop-sized holes in their swing (Steve Ontiveros, Omar Moreno, etc) were kept on low performance rosters because they were warlocks with the glove...

But check your calendar, CT3 ... IT'S NOT 50 YEARS AGO!!!

    Cut the rat-faced guy already.
