    you're too funny sometimes!
so seriously what do you think about potentially trading for Arenado now that the price has to be realistic player wise
Max does make his share of errors and that is irritating
upgrade at 3rd would certainly happen defensively but we lose offense, yet Max could move to second
not sure that would be the best DP combo to field but it might work
doesn't seem like the team is too thrilled w the idea since MM is cheaper and swats HR's... what say you?

I think Kim's bat is worrying management right now, as evidenced by Roberts saying that he may start the season in AAA. Yes it's still early but so far he's looked lost at the plate. So yeah, I can see the team exploring any and all possibilities for plan B at second base.

It is just my.opinion of course, but I think on a ML level, Max is a truly terrible 3 b. However, I thought him a damn good first baseman, but I get why he's not there. And not at DH.
I believe the team is so stacked, they will have to deal with his clunker glove and will overcome it, just like the weak hitting catcher or ss of yesteryear, when gloves were firzt and center. His extremely low BA will have to suffice, as will his errors because he hits HRs.
But watever the scenario, the compilation of his shortcomings will soon overtake his assets.
Just my tuppence. And I wasn't necessarily thinking Arenado. He seems spent, but not his glove, for sure.
Oh, and I loved posting 'Blue Max' when he launched one...and still will.

Okay, so far the Yankees and Padres were both better than the Dodgers. How about the Mets - can we get the trifecta please?

I guess I should feel fortunate. I didn't realize when the team with the most regular season wins also gets the most post season wins, it's just because their opponents underperformed.

Anybody use MLBtv in the LA area?
I've used NordVPN to bypass the blackout of local games for the past 2 years but it does not work anymore
Any time I try to go to the website with the VPN connected, I just get a 403 Forbidden error message
When the VPN is off it works just fine

Do any of you have experience with MLBtv with other VPN services?

I tried using mlbtv last year since I got it free w t mobile but didn't find it worthwhile even free and it wouldn't seem to load properly on my smart tv
last year I used sportsurge.net and usually could find a stream that was fairly reliable like streamcast, strfish etc.
always think I'm pretty far behind the curve on any of the streaming stuff and it can get glitchy so if I really want to see a specific game I go to the local pub
but have been watching the little bit of preseason on sportsurge this year and its been alright
toward the end of the year I'll get spectrum for a couple of months since no choice

Directv Stream is expensive but works great. Cancel whenever. No equipment. Unlimited devices. All home games are in 4k.

He is exactly right. People saying the Dodgers are ruining baseball are out of their minds.

The Dodgers are scrappy underdogs who just pulled off one of the most impressive feats in sports history. All the adversity we faced with our injuries on top of facing two juggernauts(SD, NYY), the 2024 Dodgers should inspire teams for years and years to come!

The team that ruined bb the most was the '27 Yankees.

looks like the final roster spot might come down to ct3, pages and rosario
kim has apparently shat the bed enough to start his dodgers career in the minors, and outman hasn't impressed
taylor is presumed to have the edge due to his IF/OF versatility, but roberts says it's still wide open

vote who you think will get it, comment who you'd like to get it (if different)

i'd like to see rosario get it, but i think taylor's ability to play infield and outfield will be the difference

I don't see the team cutting Taylor in the final year of his contract. And it's not even a money thing. I think with how much they promote his local community efforts coupled with his past contributions to the team, they know it would be a bad look to drop him. So we'll have to endure him one more season. And especially if Kim starts the year in OKC, they'll use Taylor's flexibility as justification for taking the roster spot.

I just want to know what happened to his revamped swing, because he seems to have forgotten to bring it to the desert.
