Your probably right but I think it will be an internal hire like Wallach. Having said that there aren't a whole lot of Manager candidates out there who wouldn't be a relative newbie other than LaRussa or Ozzie for instance. Lopes is very well respected throughout the majors and Honeycutt is arguably the best pitching coach in the game, they're not scrubs. It looks like all of the is moot because of the statements made today by DBB's agent.
