    The Mets didn't get better.

I almost don't even give a shit anymore who gets whom...all I know, whatever we do, whoever we get, wherever we get in the post season, we fucking fail. All the brilliant money saving dumpoffs and wily pick ups amount to the same thing every November...instead of watching sports channel reruns of the series, year end compilation of our great WS victory, it's back to the History Channel and how Hitler rose to power...again.

    but defensively...

I think the Dodgers will win the World Series this year.
I'll put money down, everything I have in my wallet this morning.
$18 bucks. Any takers or just fakers?
My cup of coffee is half full.
And come October it will be overflowing.
    With champagne.

I'd bet you just because I don't take PayPal and we'd have to settle in person but I'll NEVER bet against my Dodgers!

Yelich is dying to go to a winner, but he can't force the Marlin's hands like Stanton. He's on a pretty team friendly deal, so my guess is the Marlins are really gonna try to squeeze other teams for a lot of cheap but promising prospects.

This isn't a Cutch situation where you have an aging star and the Pirates want out and move on.

That being said, our chances are as good as any IF adding him won't bust the $197M target.

Dodgers met with Darvish today reportedly which could complicate things, not saying a signing is imminent but who knows. Have a feeling Yelich won't be traded at all this year because of the Marlin's demands which rightfully so is huge. There's really no hurry to do so even if he is very unhappy this year because they are going to be pretty bad for the next few years.

I like how Darvish comes and out and says " Sorry guys, Yankees did make an offer, but the numbers were not correct "
Lol WTF is that? We already knew he didn't turn down 160M
Half, maybe more than half, of the LAD fan base doesn't want Darvish back, so you know they're probably getting him back

And all this talk about OF bats like Yelich, McCutchen, Cain..is there a Kemp trade in the works or something? DFA? DD's made some of the dumbest moves since taking over in Boston and LAD still couldn't get Bradley Jr. for Puig. It's like it's written in stone or official league rule, that LAD must have 2 of Ethier/Kemp/Puig at all times, forever and ever. Bryce Harper would be a LAD hero on arrival if he could finally break this godforsaken OF curse. I feel like we need dragon glass to kill this OF under Guggs.

This damn outfield survives wildfires, bomb cyclones, mudslides, home invasions, Lavar Ball, embarrassing presidential races, nuclear threats, Magic Johnson tweets, the Miley Cyrus era, Prince's and David Bowie's death, Marlon Wayans' movies, ebola outbreaks, and on and on. Finally trade a MF and he comes back like a boomerang. There's only one clear solution at this point..that Kemp or Puig, or both, have sexually abused an actress or musician in Hollywood. The Los Angeles Dodgers have to find their #MeToo in order to break this curse. Rihanna, bitch, for the love all things holy..say something. And it's way too quiet as far as Ethier's next landing spot goes..dear god..he's coming back, isn't he? Aim for the head!

It all comes down to the teams trust in Joc in CF which is why guys like Cutch, Yelich and LoCain are mentioned as team targets. Kemp is still here because they are exhausting every avenue to rid themselves of ANY part of the $21 million AAV which is virtually impossible.

Watch it end up being like the Darvish trade at the deadline..at the very last second, when everybody has their handkerchiefs out and tears forming
Like a drop of rain in the desert, appreciation will be running high at that point
