Welp, the Angels appear to have become somewhat sellers. They traded Scioscia's baby, Martin Maldonado to the Astros. They are said to have no intention to go into rebuild mode, so they may trade a couple minor pieces, but I'd expect them to keep their controllable ones.

The game seems to have passed him by and he is reportedly very against a lot of the new metrics. I think the only thing he has is that Moreno apparently loves him. Their GM is said to be pretty sharpe, so i wonder if he gets rid of Scioscia in the next year or so if they continue to struggle.

Why within his own division? To a team that is already clearly better? Baffling.

Joakim Soria to the Brewers. Dude is back to having one of his good seasons. Brewers though are in need of a starter pretty bad.

Doubt Maldonado has value to anyone in the race outside of the Astros. Dude is all defense with no offense and that is a team that can afford to carry that bat in the lineup.

Less and less options out there to improve our pen. FO is going to have to get creative as there just aren't many 8th-9th inning guys left out there.

I like the Shane Greene idea. Price tag should be reasonable and he has the stuff to be a meaningful asset.

Soria just got trade to the Brews. Looks like the reliever flood gate is starting to go. Really hope MGT makes a move to shore up our bullie.

WHOA: Passan reporting that the Nats have begun exploratory discussions with teams in the event that they were to become sellers. That would be big as they could bring Kelvin Herrera back into the market and Shawn Kelley could be attainable. I still don't see them selling unless they get beat up by a terrible Marlins squad.

Know it won't happen, but I'd be all good with a Kersh for Stras swap Lol
What I saw from Stras in the post season last year was what an ace looks like, my god he was electric
He hasn't been as good this year, but shit, neither was Verlander until he was revived after a trade
More importantly, pretty much know what to expect from Kersh in the post..more heartache
The FO would never be able to sell it to LAD fans though..we love pain

I haven't heard much about any of the Marlins bullie guys. Would not mind one of Barraclough, Steckenrider, or Conley.

At lunch today, Mason and Ireland were saying that scouts for the Marlins have either watched Alvarez's last game on Tuesday or are going to watch todays game to see Alvarez today. We will see.
