I am sure the Dodgers have explored it somewhat, but I'd bet that Buehler isn't a consideration yet still with 5 years of control and some minimum years ahead of him. Maybe another big season will do the trick, but I am sure they are wary of doing something like locking him up for 7 years when he has dealt with TJ already and now they say the shelf life on that is like 5 years.

Walker Buehler was scheduled to throw a bullpen yesterday but didn’t. Dave Roberts said nothing is wrong. The team is just taking it slow with him early this spring. The plan is for him to go into the season as a regular starter — no innings limit, etc.
    ---------------
He threw 174 last year, including postseason & the minors (if you recall, his last start was one of his best), so he won't throw much more than that in the regular season given that they like to give all of their starters some rest throughout the season.

No, he's not the franchise, but he simply deserves to start opening day.
I believe he always will, too...as long as he is a LAD.

Kershaw pitched 3 seasons and almost 500 innings before he got his first Opening Day nod, and since then we are 7-1 in his Opening Day Starts (the only loss was last year 0-1).

Speaking of Chockshaw, is he really trying to regain his velo this season (similar to Verlander)? Cuz if that doesn't work...

Seriously I can only dream of getting what they get. They just don’t understand that economic will change as technology has change slot of life’s.

Example Artificial Intelligence will be changing how we do things and that means more job loss

Smart phones abilities to do things technical have hit jobs already we feel it in the railroad.

At the end of the day, these guys make between $500,000 and $30,000,000 per year to play baseball.

We can go into great detail about their grievances and why they're somewhat justified, sure. It's a league that generates billions of dollars and the players want their cut. We can put value on each win above replacement and conclude that the top players might actually be 'worth' 40 million per. I get it.

But at the end of the day, again...$500,000 to $30,00,000 to play baseball. Cry me a river.
